Terms of business
Written plainly rather than in legal language. Two sections say what is not settled yet, because saying so is better than writing a term nobody has agreed. Last updated 6 August 2026.
Who we are
Scanify Ltd, 2201 Pioneer Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA. Everything on this page is answered at contact@mail.scanify.ltd.
What the service is
A one-off audit of a public Shopify storefront. We crawl a sample of your own pages — your homepage, up to 10 product pages and up to 5 collection pages taken in order from your sitemap, so at most 16 pages — run 38 checks over what we read, and deliver the result as a PDF report.
We read only pages that are public. We do not ask for and cannot use a Shopify login, a staff account, an app installation or theme access, and we make no change to your store.
How we crawl
Our crawler identifies itself as ScanifyAuditBot, reads your
robots.txt before anything else and obeys it, and is rate-limited per host.
What it is and how to block it is published
separately, and it is the same document a merchant who found it in an access
log would read.
What a finding is, and what it is not
A finding is an observation of a storefront as it was at the time we read it. It records what was measured, the set it was counted over, and the URLs it was true of. A store changes; a report describes the crawl it came from and not the shop next month.
A finding is not a promise, a prediction or an estimate of ranking, traffic, conversion or revenue, and nothing in a report should be read as one. Severity is our own assessment of the condition, fixed in advance in a published catalog. It is not a measure of commercial impact: we do not see your traffic or your orders, and the audit is not tuned against them.
Each report ends with a section the document itself labels as general guidance rather than measurement. It is exactly that, and it should be read as somebody's opinion rather than as something we counted.
Your side of it
When you ask us to audit a storefront, you are confirming that you own it or are authorised to have it audited. Acting on a report — changing a theme, a template or a setting — is yours to do, and taking a backup first is sensible.
What we keep
From the form on this site: your email address, the storefront you gave us, and anything you wrote. From an audit: the pages we crawled and the findings we recorded. Scanify Ltd is the data controller. To see what we hold or have it deleted, write to contact@mail.scanify.ltd.
What you send through the form is read by a person. It reaches no language model, it is not published, and it is not passed to anyone else. Inside an audit, the findings are produced by code and the written summary is composed by a language model from those findings.
Fees and refunds
Not settled, and this page will not pretend otherwise. No price is published on this site and nothing is charged through it. Fees, payment terms and refunds will be written here before any money is taken. If we have quoted you something directly, that quote is what applies.
Also not settled
Governing law, jurisdiction, and any limit on our liability are not stated here, because they have not been decided. This page will say what they are rather than implying it now.
Changes to these terms
We may revise this page. The date at the top of it is when it last changed.
